El amor incondicional de Dios como fuerza motivadora del perdón cristiano
Resumen
El perdón que ha tenido más difusión a lo largo de la historia y que continúa en la actualidad es el llamado transaccional o condicional, donde el perdón está condicionado por la disculpa o el arrepentimiento. Aunque la tradición cristiana haya dado primacía a este tipo de perdón, en el NT y en la vida de Jesús de Nazaret, tiene la preferencia el amor misericordioso de Dios, por lo que se puede hablar de un amor incondicional de Dios que desemboca en el perdón incondicional. Estudiaremos después las consideraciones de diversos autores sobre el perdón condicional y el perdón incondicional. Concluiremos afirmando la existencia de un perdón incondicional de Dios, y aunque nosotros no podemos llegar a un perdón así, no se puede eliminar del horizonte cristiano, pues el perdón interpersonal tiene como referencia el amor gratuito de Dios por la humanidad, es decir, el amor desinteresado de Dios sigue siendo una fuerza motivadora de nuestro perdón en las relaciones interpersonales.
