Resumen

Las universidades deben revisar periódicamente sus planes de estudio para responder a las demandas de la sociedad en la que se insertan y adecuar sus acciones formativas a las necesidades específicas del colectivo al que se dirigen. Con esta premisa, y tomando como referencia una serie de estudios realizados en nuestro país, se muestra en este trabajo un ejemplo de esta adaptación, aplicada concretamente al campo de la formación en educación vocal y canto, partiendo de las necesidades formativas expresadas por el colectivo de maestros de educación infantil de la ciudad de Burgos. Se trata de una investigación en dos fases con un diseño eminentemente descriptivo. La recogida de datos se he realizado a través de encuestas utilizando como instrumento el cuestionario. Los resultados de la primera fase, obtenidos aplicando técnicas cuantitativas del programa SPSS, orientaron una serie de actuaciones que, en relación con la formación inicial y a tenor de los resultados obtenidos en la segunda fase, han resultado efectivas.

Abstract: Universities should revise their study plans periodically in order to meet the demands of society and to adapt their training activity to the specific needs of the collective they are dealing with. With this premise, and with reference to a series of studies carried out in our country, in this project an example of this adaptation is shown, applied specifically in the field of training in vocal education and song, starting with the training needs expressed by the teachers’ collective of Infant Education in the city of Burgos. That is, an investigation of two phases with an eminently descriptive design. The data has been gathered through surveys and questionnaires. The results of the first phase obtained by applying quantitive techniques from the SPSS programme, led to a series of steps being taken which, regarding the initial training and based on the results of the second phase, have turned out to be effective.
